Entry Fee: $245 per team

All teams must have 7 competitors. Minimum age 19

1) Open Men's
2) Open Women's
3) Gettin'-on-in-years (minimum total age 350 years and each must be a minimum 40 years as of September 23rd, 2007)
4) Mixed (maximum of 4 men per team)

 

Event details

(Note: distances are approximate)

9:30 am START @ the Crow & Gate Pub

FINISH @ approx. 2:00 pm.

(2313 Yellowpoint Road)

1. RUN....... Yellowpoint Rd to Quesnel Lake, 8 km
2. CANOE.... across Quennel Lake, 7 km
3. ROAD BIKE..... 1.5 loop Yellowpoint-Quennel- Cedar Rd. & handover @ Blue Heron Park, 26 km
4. KAYAK...... from Blue Heron Park to Kuleet Bay on First Nations land, 5 km
5. MOUNTAIN BIKE...to Michael Lk/Doole Rd,11 km
6. RUN .......... to finish @ Crow & Gate Pub, 9 km

All seven team members must cross the finish line together. Dancing, festivities and awards presentation at the Crow and Gate Pub, a neighborhood pub . . . lunch and refreshments for sale onsite.

 

 

*********IMPORTANT *********

Bike riders are required to wear ASTM, ANSI or SNELL approved helmets and obey the rules of the road.  There will be a mandatory bike and helmet check prior to the race start.  Bike numbers (available at bike check) must be affixed to MTB and road bike.

 

Each Canoe is to have two canoeists using single bladed paddles and are required to wear D.O.T. approved life jackets.

 

Kayakers are required to wear D.O.T. approved life jackets.

 

Runners to obey rules of the road and must wear numbers on back of shirts.

 

All competitors to supply their own equipment.

 

WAIVERS will be sent to Team leaders when entry forms are received. ALL SEVEN Team members must sign a waiver and all seven must be given to the event secretary at the start of the event before allowed to start.

No waiver, no race, no exception!
